For a proper fit INSIDE your fireplace opening, measure your fireplace opening like this:

STRAIGHT TOP SCREEN:

A.  Measure the width of the hearth opening near the top and near the bottom. (Fig. 1)

B. Measure the height from the bottom of the hearth to the top of the opening on both sides. (Fig. 2)

C. If the 2 widths and 2 heights do not match, use the widest and/or the highest measurement.

D. Add 1 inch to the height and 2 inches to the width to get the finished size of the custom flat guard.

ARCH-TOP SCREEN:

In addition to the above measurements, measure from the bottom to the top at the center of the opening (Fig. 2)
